Position: Bass & Backing Vocals A native of St. Louis, MO, he grew up a musical family.  His father was a singer, his mother a pianist and his grandfather was a guitarist.  He took up the recorder at the age of 8 and jumped around from instrument to instrument until his grandfather gave him his old acoustic guitar that was strung with 2 strings. His interest in that guitar and the simple rhythms and melodies that he could create with it led him to pick up his first bass, an Ibanez 4 string that year at the age of 12.  He has since gone through over 30 basses until arriving at his current set up. Prior to picking up the bass, he had played the piano, violin, drums, trumpet, cello and was a tenor section leader in his high school choir, having risen to national prominence as a 1st chair trumpeter and 1st rate tenor vocalist.  He had performed in such national venues as the Kennedy Center and the St. Louis Symphony Hall before he reached his 17th birthday. >>> NEXT >>>
